iTunes Metadata Packager

I Started as a package QC operator and quickly advanced to the lead packager on the night shift. I was responsible for ensuring packages were properly created and delivered in a timely manner. Here's what my duties include were:

• Creation and verification of XML documents for multiple vendors on a per order basis.

• Packaging of metadata, artwork and physical elements per unique vendor specifications.

• Operation of computer systems (Mac and PC) with various operational tools and data management software.

• Analyze and communicate information to resolve issues and concerns as they arise.

• Maintain a positive team relationship through both written and verbal communication, as well as accurately fulfilling needs and resolving problems accurately, on time, with high quality.

• Engage in on-going training programs as necessary, including in some cases conducting the training.

The great thing about this job was learning how to work with metadata in the form of XML documents and executing tasks with Terminal scripts. It gave me an introduction into markup languages and piqued my interest in learning HTML, CSS and even a programming language. I'm currently teaching myself Python!

Vault Specialist - Apr 2016 - May 2017

I worked in the vault at Deluxe prior to advancing to the iTunes Packager position. While there, I logged the metadata of incoming assets into the Deluxe inventory system and ensured all physical media was stored securely in the vault when not in production. I also burned DVDs and BDRs for clients and Blu-ray authors who needed them for their projects.
